This classic Yule Log Cake is a tender chocolate sponge cake filled with butter cream and covered with whipped chopped chocolate and powder sugar. #claudetteskitchen
Ingredients:
Butter Cream:
– 125 gr. of white eggs
– 250 gr. of Granulated sugar
– 64 gr. of water
– On medium heat until it reach 105 degree Celsius (keep stirring)
– Quarter teaspoon of vanilla
– When the sugar syrup reach 120 degree Celsius turn off the heat
– 500 gr. of unsalted butter in room temperature
– Add 100 gr. of chocolate spread
Making the yule log cake:
– 15 eggs (this recipe make 4 pieces of yule log cake)
– 1 teaspoon of vanilla
– 30 ml of brandy (optional)
– 1 zest lemon
– 3 cups of granulated sugar
– 3 cups of all-purpose flour
– 2 teaspoons of baking powder
– Preheat the oven to 180 degree Celsius and bake for 12 minutes or until golden color

يُحمّى الفرن على حرارة 180 درجة مئوية ويُخبز لمدة 12 دقيقة او حتى يتحول اللون الى ذهبي –
